The process of democratic building in Iraq has gone through many paths of construction and regression, and these paths are generated from the need for institutions that evaluate these experiences in a modern scientific way and put options and alternatives that keep pace with the volume of changes. Hundreds of researches and dozens of seminars and workshops helped decision-makers, government institutions, and others in creating an academic scientific destination, looking towards the direction of institutional building that keeps pace with the rapid developments and changes.

Significance

Protecting fledgling democracy in Iraq, promoting the role of the institutions, and access to the highest levels of precision in the decision-making process.  providing consultations filled with scientific details, which needed gathering many and varied competencies and experiences in Iraq.  presenting them through major research platforms and under an academic and institutional roof, bringing them together with the various institutions of power, which contributed to a large extent in establishing the pillars of seeking protection for Iraqi democracy and operationalizing its institutions.
