Introduction

An academic research institution, concerned with studies and strategic planning, is the first and most important institution established after the change in 2003, which is concerned with the decision-making process and the preparation of options and their alternatives through careful monitoring of current events and their possible repercussions by looking ahead to develop the necessary paths before the decision-maker, where the institution provides integrated work maps, executive summaries, policy papers and reports produced through seminars, specialized workshops and research written and supervised by a group of senior specialists in political, economic, military, security and other affairs.

The Iraqi Institute for Dialog is distinguished by its proximity to all parts of the state and decision-making circles due to its competencies that are considered the most prominent at the Iraqi level and in all disciplines, and by an administrative body that includes distinguished names in academic and political circles and a selection of consultants with experience and scientific competence.

The Iraqi Institute for Dialog should be a leading and essential scientific think tank and source for the state, Iraqi, regional and international institutions at various levels, in order to build solid academic bases in the decision-making process that rely on academic expertise and modern scientific research in combination with scientific expertise, and this goes beyond sharing ideas and activities with regional and international think tanks.

Making sound scientific decisions for people and institutions in a way that serves the Iraqi democratic experience, enhances the effectiveness of the performance of institutions, improves the use of authority and its correct employment, and develops society and protects it from the departure of the authority from the social contract (the constitution) and laws.
