Fourth Baghdad International Dialog Conference Concludes

The fourth Baghdad International Dialog Conference, which was held by the Iraqi Institute for Dialog under the slogan (Strategy of Transformation into an Effective State), concluded Saturday afternoon in cooperation with the University of Baghdad, and under the auspices of Asiacell and with the participation of more than 50 research titles of elite Iraqi and Arab researchers.

The conference began with a speech by Dr. Munir Al-Saadi, President of the Baghdad Dialog Conference, President of the University of Baghdad, and a speech by Mr. Abbas Radi Al-Ameri, Executive Director of the conference, Director of the Iraqi Institute for Dialog.

The work of the conference was divided into four discussion sessions, which included 16 researchers, the first session was entitled (Effective State: Founding Challenges and Procedural Modalities) chaired by Dr. Amer Hassan Fayyad, and the second session was entitled (Towards Effective Regional Performance: Opportunities and Curbs) chaired by Dr. Suhad Ismail, and the title of the third session was (Iraq is a regional actor according to the determinants of security and strategy) chaired by Dr. Khalid Abdul Elah, and finally the fourth session was entitled (Mechanisms and Steps to Transform into an Effective State) chaired by Dr. Adel Badawi .

And the scientific committee began immediately after the end of the conference to write the necessary conclusions to write a strategy paper entitled (strategy of transformation into an effective state) will be officially announced with a large ceremony to be held by the Iraqi Institute for Dialog later.
