Prime Minister: The path of development will make Iraq a regional political and economic powerhouse

The Iraqi Development Road project will make Iraq a force in the regional system from the political and economic point of view, and that efforts are continuing vigorously to complete its phases according to the scheduled timelines, Prime Minister Mohammed Shi'a Al-Sudani said.

This came during his meeting with the Director of the Iraqi Institute for Dialogue, Dr. Abbas Radi Al-Amiri, who briefed him on the work of the organizing committee of the seventh Baghdad International Dialogue, which will be launched on February 22-23, 2025, under the slogan "The Iraqi Development Road. He pointed out that the choice of this theme falls within the great Iraqi interest in the project, which gives Iraq a pivotal role in the regional system as an important point of communication between East and West.

Mr. Al-Sudani received an invitation to attend the opening of the seventh Baghdad Dialogue, announcing his sponsorship of this annual international gathering, which is hosted by the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, and hosts a group of the most important decision-makers in the region and the world.
