Politicians praised the Baghdad Dialogue organized by the Iraqi Institute for Dialogue (IID), scheduled to start on February 22, 2025, stressing that it will strengthen Iraq's regional and international role and highlight its ability to host major events.

"Iraq continues to strengthen its role in formulating regional and international solutions, and the Baghdad International Dialogue represents an opportunity to promote dialogue and understanding between countries, especially in light of the current challenges facing the region and the world," said President Abdullatif Jamal Rashid.

"The seventh Baghdad International Dialogue represents an important annual gathering that reflects Iraq's pivotal role in promoting regional dialogue by hosting an elite group of thinkers and decision-makers in the region and the world," said Prime Minister Mohammed Shi'a Al-Sudani.

"The Baghdad International Dialogue is an important opportunity that brings together global elites to discuss important choices and decisions, and it is beautiful that Iraq is the center of this dialogue," said Nechirvan Barzani, president of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

"The Baghdad International Dialogue reflects Iraq's ability to host major events and serves as a meeting point for visions that support security and development in the region and the world," said Central Bank Governor Ali Al-Alaq.

It is noteworthy that the activities of the seventh Baghdad International Dialogue will be launched with the participation of a group of political, economic and academic figures from inside and outside Iraq on February 22, 2025.
