On Saturday and Sunday, February 22 and 23, 2025, the seventh Baghdad International Dialogue Conference will be held in Baghdad under the slogan "Communication for Development and Regional Stability," with the participation of a group of decision makers, academics, and international experts.

The conference will discuss a range of vital issues that reflect developments in the regional and international scene. The first day will kick off with sessions dedicated to discussing the Road to Development project, its role in enhancing regional security and stability, and the challenges facing this ambitious project.

Participants will also address ways to strengthen Iraq's role in ensuring regional security after October 7, as well as a special session on the role of the informed elite in shaping Iraq's future.

On the second day, the conference will continue with sessions discussing geopolitical shifts and their impact on the region, in addition to topics related to economic cooperation and regional integration, and the future of energy and economic corridors. The second day will also see a pivotal session on the future of Syria from an international perspective, followed by discussions on great power competition and its impact on the stability of the Middle East.

The conference is an important opportunity to exchange visions on regional issues and open new horizons for constructive dialogue, contributing to the consolidation of sustainable development, economic integration and political stability in the region.
