In the name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Connecting for Regional Development and Stability

Honorable Prime Minister Mr. Mohammed Shi'a Al-Sudani

Ladies and gentlemen, with titles and titles reserved.

Dear Guests of Iraq

Peace be upon you and God's mercy.

Another Baghdad morning full of pride, achievement, stability and optimism brings us together for another Baghdad Peace Dialogue.

Communication, dialogue and understanding in times of conflict has become a characteristic of Iraq's diplomacy. Iraq has strengthened its diplomatic presence and expanded its international relations, adopting a balanced foreign policy away from polarization, in order to chart a course in which it is able to maintain balanced relations while adhering to its national values and constants.

Iraq has continued to consolidate its approach in supporting stability and victory over terrorism, enhancing its active presence in reconstruction and integrating national interests into its foreign policy, as it has proven its ability to use balanced diplomacy to resolve crises and promote stability, based on a vision that allows it to play an active role in the region. Iraq has proven its ability to use balanced diplomacy to resolve crises and promote stability, based on a vision that allows it to play an active role in the region.

Iraq has shown wisdom in dealing with events by seeking humanitarian support for those affected by the recent events in the region, especially in Gaza and Lebanon, and working to call for a return to international conventions and a peaceful approach, rejecting policies of repression, and actually working on the ground to stop the bloodshed by delivering urgent aid to civilians. He also sought to capitalize on his positive relations with all regional and international powers to contain the crisis and prevent the expansion of the circle of conflict.

Iraq has proven that it is able to balance its deep historical values and its responsibility to defend them with a wise consideration of its national interests as a country that seeks to preserve its security, stability, and the well-being of its people. Iraqis have demonstrated in more than one situation that the wisest strategy lies in being adept at achieving interests through dialogue, understanding, and listening, away from violence, conflict, and force.

This conscious approach has led Iraq to adopt visions that keep pace with the geopolitical changes in its regional environment, enhancing its ability to deal with global transformations flexibly and effectively. As a result, Iraq has not only protected its interests, but also succeeded in serving as a focal point and incubator for the settlement of a number of regional crises, solidifying its position as a country capable of positively influencing the course of events and promoting stability.

Successfully directing a strategic shift to suit the geopolitical shifts of the region remains one of the main pillars of the development of Iraq's role in all its institutions, especially think tanks. In this context, the need to optimize Iraq's geopolitics by adopting a productive diplomacy that focuses on achieving common interests and investing in regional stability has necessitated the need to invest in Iraq's geopolitics.

The Development Road project is a prominent example of this transformation, as it is not only a logistical corridor, but also a qualitative step in enhancing Iraq's status and the aspirations of its people towards development and stability. For the first time, Iraq has adopted a development project of this magnitude, making it a key pillar to diversify the sustainable non-oil economy and transform Iraq into an economic zone that connects East and West and serves the sustainable development of all.

In the context of promoting think tank diplomacy, the seventh edition of the Baghdad Dialogue confirms Iraq's commitment to its growing democratic experience and progress in the economy and to presenting new visions that promote security, stability and development. With increasing global challenges, the Baghdad Dialogue is a vital platform that brings together elites who seek peace, security, stability and development, and strive for a theory that avoids the effects of wars, conflicts and risks that plague the planet, starting with artificial risks and not ending with natural, environmental and technological risks. This event reflects the status of Iraq, which seeks to deepen its democratic experience in its upcoming elections this year and as an active country in international dialogues, capable of providing solutions that promote global cooperation and support efforts aimed at building a more stable future and sustainable development for all
