The third session of the Baghdad International Dialogue Conference on "Iraq's Role in Regional Security after October 7" kicks off
The third session of the Baghdad International Dialogue Conference, entitled "Iraq's role in regional security after October 7," is underway, with the participation of a group of diplomats and experts specializing in regional and security affairs.
Dr. Farid Yassin, former Iraqi ambassador to Washington; Ryan Crocker, former U.S. ambassador to Baghdad; Hamid Reza Gholamzadeh, head of Iran's Diplomatic House; Matthew Rey, director of the French Institute for the Near East; and Abbas Dahuk, a retired colonel and researcher specializing in the region.
Moderated by Dr. Ahmed Mahjoub of Ghadan Risk Management, the panelists will discuss the repercussions of regional events after October 7, Iraq's role in enhancing regional security and stability, and the challenges it faces in light of geopolitical changes.
