The panelists were Dr. Farid Yassin, former Iraqi ambassador to Washington; Ryan Crocker, former U.S. ambassador to Baghdad; Hamid Reza Gholamzadeh, head of Iran's Diplomatic House; Matthew Rey, director of the French Institute for the Near East; and Abbas Dahouk, a retired colonel and regional scholar.
The session was moderated by Dr. Ahmed Mahgoub.
