The Iraqi Institute for Dialogue organizes a book signing ceremony in the presence of a group of academics and intellectuals

The Iraqi Institute for Dialogue organized a book signing ceremony for two new books, "Confrontation Strategies: National Security in a Complex World" by Dr. Saif Al-Darraji and "Baath from Secularism to Jihadism" by Mohammed Al-Saabri, in the presence of a group of academic figures and intellectuals.

The event witnessed extensive discussions on the issues raised by the two books, with attendees addressing the concept of national security in light of the changing global challenges, as well as analyzing the shifts in Baathist thought from secular nationalism to adopting a jihadist discourse in complex political contexts.

Al-Darraji discussed strategies for confronting security threats in a world where international and regional powers are increasingly intertwined, while Al-Saabri discussed the dimensions of the ideological shift in the Baath Party and its impact on the current political scene.

Attendees interacted with the presentations, and an open dialogue was held on issues such as the future of Arab national security, the impact of ideological conflicts on political stability, and the role of national identity in immunizing societies against extremism and internal divisions.

The ceremony concluded with the signing of the two books for the attendees, emphasizing the continuation of the Institute's efforts to support research production and promote academic debate on strategic issues facing Iraq and the region.
