Ryan Crocker: Baghdad International Dialogue Conference draws the attention of diplomats
The Iraqi Institute for Dialogue published on its YouTube channel a recorded interview with Ryan Crocker, the former US ambassador to Iraq, in which he talked about his positive impressions about the noticeable changes in the capital Baghdad compared to his previous visits, noting that the city has become more vibrant and prosperous, with the return of activity to its streets and facilities.
During the interview, Crocker emphasized the importance of this conference, which is attended by prominent Iraqi figures, stressing that this kind of intellectual exchange enhances opportunities for cooperation and building bridges of trust between different parties.
The former U.S. ambassador noted Iraq's historic role, describing it as a central state in promoting regional stability and economic development in the Middle East.
Crocker emphasized the importance of deepening cooperation between Iraq and the international community in the areas of security, energy, and economics, saying that such cooperation is a key pillar for building a more stable and prosperous future for the entire region.
