President of the Baghdad Riwaq Center: The Iraqi Institute for Dialogue combines thought and practice

Dr. Abbas Al-Anbouri, President of Riwaq Baghdad Center for Studies, praised the importance of the seventh Baghdad International Dialogue Conference, which was recently organized by the Iraqi Institute for Dialogue in Baghdad and discussed the future of Iraq through the "Road to Development" project, describing it as a prominent intellectual and political station that brought together a high-level elite from different parts of the world.

The Baghdad International Dialogue witnessed a wide participation of political, academic and intellectual figures from inside and outside Iraq, reflecting the growing regional and international interest in the country's future, Al-Anbouri said in a statement to the website of the Iraqi Institute for Dialogue.

He added that the Iraqi Institute for Intellectual Dialogue, an institution concerned with linking theory to reality, has focused on presenting the "Development Road" project as a strategic option for Iraq and the region, calling for the need to deal with this project as a comprehensive vision that requires a long-term commitment by successive governments to ensure its success.

Al-Anbouri emphasized that this type of initiative represents an important step towards consolidating stability and sustainable development in Iraq, provided it is implemented with a realistic vision and effective internal and external partnerships.
