Rudolph praised Iraq's current economic policies, while emphasizing the need for "reforms that encourage foreign investment, including support for a skills-based economy, better use of modern technology, and continued openness to neighboring countries."
Rudolph described the Baghdad International Dialogue as a "very important event" that brings together researchers, politicians, diplomats and experts from various fields, giving them an opportunity to exchange views and discuss ways to develop Iraq.
Rudolph concluded her speech by thanking the Iraqi Institute for Dialogue for organizing the conference, calling its efforts "inspiring and attractive for constructive dialogue."
