Expert from Uzbekistan: The Baghdad Dialogue is a necessity in a time of transformation

Professor Lotfiddin Khojaev of the University of World Economy in Uzbekistan emphasized that the Baghdad International Dialogue Conference has become more than just an annual gathering to present research, but has evolved into a vital space to promote development communication between countries and societies through open dialogue and exchange of views between specialists and decision-makers.

In a statement on the sidelines of his participation in the conference, Khojaev emphasized the importance of the timing of the current session in light of the rapid transformations taking place in the region, stressing the need to provide reliable sources of information to counter the waves of media distortion and the lack of objectivity in some news platforms.

Khojaev praised the good organization of this year's conference, noting the diversity of topics that addressed pivotal issues such as politics, security, economy and transportation, noting the need to analyze these issues thoroughly and make executive decisions to ensure the achievement of the desired goals.

Khojaev also linked the importance of the conference to the historical and cultural ties between his country and the Arab world, calling for capitalizing on these commonalities to strengthen regional cooperation and exchange development experiences.

The Baghdad International Dialogue is one of the most prominent political and intellectual events in the region, providing a platform for constructive discussion among academics, diplomats and experts on issues that concern the future of the region and its stability.
