Director of the Iraqi Institute for Dialog: The 8th Baghdad International Dialog discusses the first hundred days of the government and strengthens strategic partnerships

The director of the Iraqi Institute for Dialog, Abbas Radi al-Ameri, said on Sunday that the Baghdad Dialog brings together political leaders and local and foreign experts to discuss opportunities for cooperation and partnerships, while noting that the outputs of the dialog will support the efforts of the state and strengthen regional and international cooperation.

And said Amiri in a press statement, Sunday, that "the eighth edition of the Baghdad International Dialog will be held under the auspices of the Prime Minister on August 21 and 22 next in the capital Baghdad, to discuss the performance of the first hundred days of the ninth government and the vision of Iraq in the transition from crisis management to building strategic partnerships."

And he added that "the conference will be held under the slogan 100 days on the formation of the ninth government: Iraq from crisis management to building strategic partnerships," noting that "it comes at a pivotal stage witnessed by Iraq and the region, and constitutes a national and international platform to assess the first hundred days of the work of the new government, discuss the priorities of the next stage, and review the state's vision to promote security, stability and development."

And he continued, "The eighth edition of the Baghdad International Dialog will bring together a group of political leaders, decision-makers, thinkers, experts and academics from Iraq, the region and the world, with the aim of exchanging views on the most prominent regional and international challenges, and discussing opportunities for cooperation and partnerships that support development and stability."

Al-Ameri explained that "the Iraqi Institute for Dialog continues its preparations to receive participants and guests from inside and outside Iraq, expressing his aspiration that the outputs of the eighth edition of the Baghdad International Dialog will contribute to supporting the efforts of the Iraqi state and strengthening regional and international cooperation to serve common interests."
