What do you know about Turkey's military presence in Syria?

Turkish influence in Syria is increasing after the fall of the Bashar al-Assad regime, especially in the north, which raises Israeli concerns due to the geopolitical dimensions.

After Ankara took control of large areas, Turkey established military bases and deployed F-16 fighters, bringing the number of its military points to 64 by 2024, including 49 major bases in Idlib, Aleppo, Hama, and Latakia. Seven Turkish brigades are deployed with 10,500 soldiers armed with thousands of heavy vehicles.

Ankara launched four military operations (2016-2020) that enabled it to take control of large parts of northern Syria in cooperation with opposition factions.
