Director of the Iraqi Institute for Dialog discusses with the President of Shell in Iraq ways of joint cooperation

The Director of the Iraqi Institute for Dialog, Dr. Abbas Radhi, received the President of Shell in Iraq, Mr. Fakher Badr, to discuss developments in the region, ways of joint cooperation and the development of the energy sector in Iraq.

During the meeting, Dr. Abbas Radhi discussed the preparations being made by the Iraqi Institute for Dialog to launch the eighth edition of the eighth Baghdad International Dialog Conference, which will be held in early May.

He praised the services provided by Shell, including technical support and the transfer of modern expertise, which contributes to the implementation of strategic projects aimed at developing the oil and gas sectors, enhancing production efficiency, and keeping pace with global developments in the field of energy.

The meeting was attended by the Executive Director of the Baghdad International Energy Forum, which is organized by the Ghadan Foundation for Risk Management in cooperation with the Iraqi Institute for Dialog, Engineer Ahmed Al-Wendi.

Al-Wendi pointed out that the Foundation, in coordination with the Iraqi Institute for Dialog, began preparing and arranging programs and events for the second edition of the Baghdad International Energy Forum, which is scheduled to be held at the end of October, with broad local and international participation from decision-makers, energy experts and international companies.

For his part, Mr. Fakher Badr stressed the importance of continuing dialog and cooperation between research institutions and international companies, in a way that supports energy security and enhances opportunities for sustainable development in Iraq, expressing the company's readiness to participate in the events organized by the Iraqi Institute for Dialog and the Tomorrow Foundation for Risk Management.
