"Thought Dialog" magazine publishes its double issue (87-88)
The Iraqi Institute for Dialog published the new double issue (87-88) of the Journal of Thought Dialog, which was entitled "The Eighth President: Political Crises to Economic Dilemmas" and was devoted to foreseeing the Iraqi scene and the challenges of building the state during the next stage.
The issue includes a range of academic studies and research that examines ways to enhance the stability of the Iraqi state and formulate a new strategic balance that preserves the interests of the country and avoids the repercussions of regional and international conflicts, especially in light of the nature of complex relations with the United States and international actors.
And the issue touches on the importance of moving from the stage of crisis management to the stage of building a clear national vision based on strengthening the sovereignty of the state, limiting arms to official institutions, and developing the economic structure through structural reforms that reduce dependence on oil revenues and support economic diversification.
The issue also highlights the need to activate economic diplomacy and expand international partnerships to serve national interests, in addition to providing practical visions and proposals to decision-makers with the aim of enhancing political, security and economic stability, and moving Iraq from a state of fragility and accumulated challenges to a more effective and influential position at the regional and international levels.
