Pillars in the Philosophy of Politics

writer: Yumna Tarif Al-Khouli

Political philosophies are dynamic and able to keep pace with the social reality of peoples, and they differ, each expressing a direction according to the situation.

Political doctrines can be divided into two general directions; one is “right-wing,” ideologically represented by liberalism, and economically supported by capitalism; As a reaction to the dominance of the right, the other “left-wing” trend emerged, represented by socialist systems intellectually and economically.

This resulted in a balance that was only disturbed with the collapse of the socialist camp with the fall of the Soviet Union at the end of the 1980s, after which the heralds began for the sovereignty of a new world order in which the United States was crowned as one pole of the world, but this sovereignty did not last long, especially with the emergence of new forces on the economic scene in particular, represented by the giants Japan and China, and then the Asian tigers after them; This led to the collapse of the values of Western centralism and its criticism of new values‎
